Cookie Policy

Draft, pending legal review. This document was written against how the platform actually handles data, but it has not yet been reviewed by a qualified lawyer. Treat it as a statement of intent rather than a final contract.

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. This policy lists every cookie LogCrew sets and what each one does.

We keep this list short on purpose. LogCrew is a working tool, not an advertising surface, and we have no commercial reason to track you across the internet.

1.Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the platform to function. They do not need your consent under the ePrivacy Directive, and the service cannot be provided without them. You can block them in your browser, but you will not be able to sign in.

2.Preference storage

These remember how you like the interface set up. They are stored in your browser and are never sent to us or to anyone else — they exist only on the device you set them on, and clearing your site data removes them.

3.Third-party cookies

Stripe sets cookies on the payment step for fraud prevention and to make the card form work. These are necessary to take a payment, and Stripe’s own privacy policy governs them.

We do not currently use advertising cookies, social media pixels, or third-party analytics.

4.Analytics

LogCrew has an analytics interface in its code but no analytics provider connected to it, so no analytics cookies are set today.

If we connect one, it will be off by default. We will ask for your consent through a banner before setting any non-essential cookie, you will be able to refuse without losing access to any part of the service, and withdrawing consent will be as easy as giving it. This policy will be updated with the specific cookies before that happens, not after.

5.How to control cookies

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings, either generally or per site.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
Clearing your site data resets your theme, sidebar, density and any saved form drafts.
Your browser may offer a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. We set no tracking cookies for it to apply to, and we will honour it if that ever changes.
